Ten Days of Action

The Save Darfur Coalition is calling on communities from across the country to participate in the Global Day for Darfur on September 17, 2006.

We are building excitement and interest for this special day by undertaking a series of activities ten days before this historic occasion.

These events will give activists everywhere an opportunity to raise awareness about the genocide and help bring an end to this terrible crime against humanity.  We hope that you and your organization will be able to participate in as many of the events as possible. 

As world leaders gather in New York for the 61st General Assembly of the United Nations, we have a great opportunity to shine a spotlight on the Darfur and move the UN to take action to end the violence .
