These photographs were taken by David Rubenstein, Executive Director of the Save Darfur Coalition, on his trip to Chad to meet with refugees from Darfur. |
After the trip, David Rubenstein and actress Mia Farrow briefed the press about the worsening situation in Darfur and neighboring Chad. They were joined by retired U.S. Ambassador Lawrence Rossin, the Save Darfur Coalition’s Ambassador-at-Large, who has recently returned from a 16 day trip to meet with key leaders in the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Video footage was recorded at the refugee camps to document first hand testimonials from the victims of the ongoing genocide in Darfur. |
