Summer 2007 Internships
The Save Darfur Coalition is a diverse alliance of more than 175 faith-based, humanitarian, and human rights organizations representing 130 million Americans, assembled to raise public awareness and to mobilize efforts to end the genocide in Darfur and reduce the suffering in nearby refugee camps. The coalition seeks U.S. pressure to win immediate, international action to protect victims of genocide and “ethnic cleansing,” and to allow the survivors a safe and dignified return to their homes and villages.
The coalition is currently accepting applications for Summer 2007 Internships. Internship duties will include assisting with Darfur-related activities and events, helping to keep the website information updated, providing support for Coalition campaigns and initiatives, working with our communications team, and helping coordinate our community-outreach efforts. Regardless of the specific task, interns will serve a vital role at the Coalition and will be responsible for key tasks.
The Save Darfur Coalition is an equal opportunity employer. For immediate consideration please forward your resume and cover letter to interns@savedarfur.org, and indicate Summer Internship in the subject line.
