Urge China to help end genocide China has been using its permanent seat on the U.N. Security Council to give Sudan diplomatic cover for far too long. We must make sure that China recognizes its responsibility as a rising global power and uses its influence over Sudan to help the people of Darfur.

| Secure helicopters for the Darfur peacekeepers The Darfur peacekeepers have to operate in a vast desert with only dirt tracks between major towns. To be effective in such an environment, they will need at least 24 helicopters for transport and security. But no country has stepped up to provide them. President Bush should lead an international effort to secure the helicopters the Darfur peacekeepers need to be successful. |
