Thank you for visiting GW's Dollars for Darfur page. 

As most of you should know, GW's Student Government this year has made a commitment to get Ridgewood INVOLVED and MAKE A DIFFERENCE to help end the genocide in Sudan. A genocide is a MASS SLAUGHTER of certain people from a specific ethnic group or nation.  So far, an estimated 400,000 people have been murdered, and about 2.5 million have been left homeless.

GW will be doing a lot to benefit this charity:

• Halloween Dance
• Our Wii raffle
• GW film-making competition
• much much more!

Dollars for Darfur is a national school competition to raise money to help end the genocide in Sudan. Our school is competing with other middle and high schools across the country to show our concern about this issue.

Middle school students can make a difference. There are over eleven million middle school students in the United States. If each student raised a small amount the effect would be enormous. Donating through this website is simple, fast and completely secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.
