Outreach, education, mobilization in solidarity with SaveDarfurCoalition, fundraising events, and empowerment through action (incl: speakers, films, letter writing and calling elected officials)Creating and distributing 5000 buttons and stickers to local businesses, merchants, congregations, school campus Darfur active clubs and public meetings. Posting lawn signs in well traveled key locations. Distributing tee shirts and hats to community members. Completing postcards & petitions. Networking with SaveDarfur.org. SDC dvd aired on local cable station, Buena High School, Ventura High School, Agoura High School, Democratic Club,etc. Organizing carpools to major actions & events.
