BYU & UVSC DARFUR ACTION COMMITTEE

400,000 men, woman and children have been slaughtered in the Darfur region of Sudan - people who want nothing more than safety and happiness, just like us. This group is for the people of Utah County who are concerned enough about Darfur to do what can be done to help. Plenty of these causes get washed up in sometimes hokey, idealistic talk that results in little action. Our goal is to bring people together to share ideas and raise money to actually get something done. This group is to serve as a forum for people coming together to share ideas for fund raising, letter writing and lobbying for the hope that someday soon, something in Darfur will change. When one good idea is supplemented by other good ideas, big things can happen. Our community is full of people who care, and this group is meant to bring them together for the noblest of causes.
