Sudan 365: A Beat for Peace (Other)
San Francisco premiere screening of "Rebuilding Hope", a powerful record of the quest by three "Lost Boys of Sudan" to find surviving family-members and rediscover and contribute to their homeland, shedding light on what the future holds for South Sudan in its struggle for peace, development and stability. Mohamed Suleiman, SF Bay Area Darfur Coalition President, and Deng Jongkuch, a Lost Boy living in San Jose, will speak. This is one of many events taking place around the world on the same date - the anniversary of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement of 2005, that ended the Sudan North/South war.
