Indianapolis Olympic Torch-Relay: Dream for Darfur (Olympic Dream for Darfur Event)
Save Darfur, STAND, and Dream for Darfur are rallying together to organize an Olympic Torch Relay beginning in New York, on Sept. 9th, and ending in Washinton DC, in December.
We are planning a BIG event in Indianapolis on October 14th to carry the torch for the people of Darfur.
The event is going to be held on IUPUI's campus, near pyramid fountatin, from 2:00-4:00 pm. Please join us to hear personal survival stories from Ibrahim Adam Musa, a Darfurian refugee, and Michael Blain, a holocaust survivor. You will also enjoy music from BPN and Rynthm Wreckers, and dancing from Iibada, a African children's dance troop. : Olympic Dream for Darfur official events in the US are organized by the Save Darfur Coalition, STAND, and the Dream for Darfur. They feature a torch that started its journey in Chad, just across the border from Darfur, will continue to the sites of previous genocides, several cities in the US, and arrive at China's doorstep in December.
