Los Angeles Torch Rally (Olympic Dream for Darfur Event)
Jewish World Watch is working with Olympic Dream for Darfur and the Save Darfur Coalition for the Los Angeles leg of the national Torch Relay. We're also partnering with Junction Christian Communities.
We'll be passing the torch between survivors of past genocides and Olympic athletes at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, site of the 1984 Olympic Games. Confirmed speakers include Los Angeles City Councilmember Bernard Parks, Olympic Champion John Naber, 2006 Winter Olympian Maria Cruz Garcia, Ben Prochazka, Director of the Torch Relay, and Janice Kamenir-Reznik, Founding President of Jewish World Watch.
Join our rally and earn a free ticket to a screening of Darfur Now immediately following, courtesy of Participant Productions and Warner Independent. Stay after the film for a special Q&A with Director Ted Braun!
