Sprint/Walk for Darfur (Global Days for Darfur)
Deerfield High School will host Sprint (Run/Walk) for Darfur on Saturday, April 28, part of the Global Days for Darfur events.
The "Sprint" for Darfur will be open for all to attend. We invite you to join us.
WHAT:
3K or 5K
HOW:
Enter with a flat suggested donation of $5 or get pledges from friends and family per lap or kilometer or for the whole race! See weblink below.
All proceeds benefit families in refugee camps in Darfur, Sudan or advocacy on their behalf.
DONATIONS WILL BE TAKEN IN THE FORM OF CASH OR CHECKS (MADE OUT TO DHS or to one of the designated non-profits: Doctors Without Borders, the World Food Program or the Save Darfur Coalition—or other organizations, if individuals wish; we will tally and send them on your behalf).
