For this event, we are targeting Fidelity Investments, which is one of the top holders of PetroChina shares.
The purpose of this event is to put media and public pressure on Fidelity to divest from PetroChina and other companies in Sudan that help finance the genocide in Darfur.
Leafletting for this event will last all day, from 9:00am - 6:00pm. If you'd like to sign up to leaflet for part or all of that time, please add a note in the comment field when you sign up.
The full schedule is as follows:
9:00am – Show up outside office with signs, flyers, etc.
12:40-1:30pm – Rally
6:00pm – Finish up leafleting and flyering
