Save Darfur Walk (Other)
This is a city-wide, inter-faith walk-a-thon to raise funds for the Save Darfur Coalition. It is also to raise public awareness of the crisis. There will be a speaker first, followed by a 5K Walk. It is not a competitive event.
You can either be an individual walker, or be a team captain and recruit 10 - 20 people to walk on your team. Each person or team member should get sponsors. When you raise $100, you will receive a t-shirt with the walk logo on it.

Co-sponsoring the event with STAND UH is the Political Science Department, Women's Studies Department, UNICEF at UH, and Amnesty International at UH.
The walk and registration will begin in front of the A. D. Bruce Religion Center. I will post up a flier this weekend.
