April Events Events to support free and fair elections in Sudan (April 2010).
Art Events that showcase art, music, dance, theater, etc. in order to raise awareness about the crisis in Sudan and/or generate funds.
Education/Awareness Events that educate activists or interested persons on the crisis in Sudan.
Faith Work Spiritual or religious approach to encourage activism.
Fundraising Events held to raise funds for advocacy efforts. Includes benefit concerts, walk-a-thons, bake sales, car washes, talent shows, etc.
Lobbying Meeting with government officials to express views, (dis)agreement with policies, and requests for action.

Rally/Protest A gathering of people with signs, petitions and literature at a publicly visible, central location.
