Save Darfur activists and allies around the country organize coordinated divestment days of action.

Your action can coincide with the coordinated events countrywide, or you can organize a divestment action at any time.

How to Stay informed

Email coby@savedarfur.org with "Communities United" in the email address. He will add you to the list to get emails about organizing divestment events.

How to Get the Word Out

  • Be sure to post your event on the Save Darfur website by visiting and selecting “divestment” as the event type.
     
  • Send notices about the event to members of Save Darfur groups in your communities. To find the groups in your area, please use our Communities United to Save Darfur groups tool.
     
  • Spread the word at local Save Darfur group meetings.
     
  • Contact local Save Darfur coalition member organizations, notify them of the event and ask them to pass on details to their supporters.
     
  • Contact local media to get press coverage of your event.
