I am your administrator, Cassie, and I hope that we can use this group to accomplish our goal; stopping the violence in Darfur. As you can probably tell by the post title, yes, the group we created in the Wake County, NC area, "DARFUR FOR LIFE" has been approved, so we'll have updates up very soon on events, meetings, fundraisers, etc.! Also, now you guys can start joining the group so you can keep tabs on the news and updates via the sweet mailing list! :) Furthermore, if anyone has any suggestions or ideas on how to get the group started and working properly so that we can help the victims of the genocide to our greatest extent possible, please do let either me, or someone in the admin. know, so that we can get the news out fast, and jump into action! :) Here's the link to the group: DARFUR FOR LIFE (P.S. Even if you don't live in the Wake County, North Carolina area, it'd be great if you joined the group, because it's important that word of sitation in Darfur and neighboring countries in Africa get out to as many people as possible. The way I see it, as human beings, we have an obligation to protect humanity as a whole, as an united force. There maybe many different SaveDarfur/humanitarian groups worldwide, but we all have one mandate, and that is to protect human rights, and stop and prevent any abuse of these rights.)
