I have looked quite a few places and I haven't been able to find any benefit concerts or anything in Denver. Am I looking in the wrong places? If there actually aren't any, how does one go about arranging one?

Re: Darfur Benefits

Hey, I know there is conference at CU in January. I'm not sure of the exact date, but I'll let you know. Also, I would get in touch with organizations that are already working on projects rather than starting from scratch. If you're your high school or college, see if there's a STAND chapter at your school. Also, you can check out the Colorado Coalition for Genocide Awareness and Action or Save Darfur Colorado Chapter. Hope that helps.

Walk/Run Benefit
By Sara Nov 27th 2006 at 4:51 pm EST
I'd like to organize a walk/run in Denver with the coalition and members. I need to get an outline down as to what needs to be done and when, etc., as well as contact the chamber and local reps and coordinators of such things, and was wondering if anyone would like to help me organize this event. Thanks...Sara

"A 21st Century Genocide" showing at CU - Boulder
By Amber Camus Nov 28th 2006 at 9:23 pm EST
Hello,

I am student at the University of Colorado (Boulder's campus). I am a member
for the newly formed sociology club on campus and we are presenting the 30-
minute DVD "A 21st Century Genocide" in the following weeks. We also were
hoping to have speakers as well, especially since the DVD was created in March
and much has changed in the past few months. If anyone is interested or could
refer me to a speaker that would be wonderful too!

This event will also be open to the public if anyone is interested in
attending. If you are interested in becoming involved or would like to attend
the event, please contact me or Patrick Potyondy (his contact information is
patrick.potyondy@colorado.edu) . If a speaker cannot be confirmed before the end
of the semester we may have to push the presentation back until after January
16th. I will send out another e-mail once speakers and a date is confirmed to
anyone who is interested. Thank you!
