Sudan severed relations with Chad on the twelfth of this month, May. Sudan accused Chad of supporting the rebel groups that raided it's capital.
Many refugees from Darfur are in Chad and with this new outbreak of resentment between the two countries its likely that there will be an increase in the violence, putting those who have been displaced or those who are migrating to Chad in an even more intense enviroment.

The situation in Darfur has gotten to a point where it is no longer just a situation in Darfur. Chad is also being affected by this genocide; refugees are seeking shelter in Chad and coming with them are an influx of their attackers. Now, Chadian civilians are also being endangered and prayed upon.
Below I have a link to a pre-written email you can send to your Federal Representatives urging them to strongly co-sponsor an important resolution to protect civilians throughout the area.
