Last year, students raised more than $306,000 with creative campaigns that included concerts, walk-a-thons and raffles. Half of the money helped provide food, water, and shelter for people in Darfur and the other half helped the Save Darfur Coalition build political support to bring peace to Darfur.
This year, both middle schools and high schools across the nation are challenged to raise $375,000.
